Queenter Mbori CEO and founder of Woman Kenya Network has been nominated for the second edition of the SHE Awards under the Mediapreneur of The Year. 

“This award is an affirmation that we are moving in the right direction in terms of our mandate, which is to advance gender equality in the media,” said Ms Mbori.

Who is Queenter Mbori ? 

Queenter Mbori is an award-winning Gender Equality Advocate, an experienced media manager, multimedia journalist, media trainer, and award-winning gender equality advocate

She brings over 12 years of experience in the media, having served in various editorial management capacities in Kenya, Tanzania, and Africa. 

She is the current Board Chair and First President, of Standard Group Women Network a professional organization that seeks to amplify women’s voices in the workplace. Previously, she worked as the Deputy Digital Editor, at the Standard Group PLC a Kenyan-based multimedia platform.

Queenter is also a Board Member, of the African Women in Media, an international non-governmental organization that seeks to create an enabling environment for women who work in the media and change how they are presented in media content.
