Kenyan media personality, anchor, and actress is recognized for gender equality advocacy. Janet has been vocal about menstrual health and is the author of a book; Her First Time. 10 percent of the proceeds from the book are dedicated to ending period poverty.
Janet Mbugua is the Founder and Director of Media Avenue Limited. She has reinforced the empowerment of young women through the Inua Dada Campaign. She started her career in media at the age of 19. At the prime of her career, she worked for Citizen TV before pursuing personal development and goals.
